Application Process

Johnson & Johnson Community Health Care Scholars are selected through a competitive process in early spring, based on an application, interview, and past work experience.  After selection of the best candidates, the CHCSP Director contacts the grantees to introduce herself and the assigned Scholar.  The grantees and their Scholars have an opportunity to meet for the first time at the Johnson & Johnson Community Health Care Program Annual Meeting, usually held in Washington, D.C. in early May of each year.

Who should apply?

Current first and second year PhD and DrPH students with an interest in community health care program evaluation are eligible to apply. Request for applications is announced every year in February. Applicants are interviewed in March and those selected start their work with the J&J Scholars program in September
